A week ago today @joshbkelley brought the kids and my mom up to Vancouver to celebrate thanksgiving and Naleigh’s and my birthday and it. Was. Perfect. I did not have the bandwidth to cook, clean and decorate so I made the incredibly smart decision not to. Instead I called @setthedateyvr which is an amazing local Vancouver company run by a wildly talented group of women who work 9-5 jobs during the week and spend their weekends making your special occasion dreams come true because that is their true passion. And boy can you tell they’re passionate about it! They KILLED it and I loved every single thing they did to make the day beautiful, charming, elegant and delicious! I made all our favorite side dishes but left the heavy lifting up to another incredible team of talented Vancouverians @edgecaters I rarely give such resounding endorsements but these guys more then deserve it! I am deeply thankful that despite a grueling work schedule and being so far away from my family I was still able to rest and renew and celebrate with my people in a gorgeous environment and with delicious food on the table.
