#estimedesoi #intelligenceemotionnelle #livres @editionsplonLikes : 1426

I wish I was aware of it during the years where I would fly many hours (or party) and then go straight to a set 😂 By incorporating these easy, daily exercises into my routine, my smile lines, frown lines, and all those little expression marks have softened remarkably. My skin texture has improved drastically. It’s fascinating how the power of our own hands, combined with consistency, can bring such fast and visible results. These are known internationally as the hills of wine, truffles, and they are much more: it’s all about the utmost care in the quality of produce, and the quality of life. It’s very important for me to share this part of my roots with my husband and kids. And I’m very grateful to @casadilanga for hosting us. This hotel, located in the Alta Langa (500 meters above sea level), has achieved a mix of modern aesthetics and finishes with local tradition, with a strong emphasis on sustainability reflected in every detail. I’m also profoundly inspired by their permaculture philosophy, every vegetable and fruit we eat comes from their stunning garden. Caption : My first session with BOVISAJ was a revelation. From understanding my bad habits to highlighting the areas I didn’t realise I could work on – it was instrumental in my beginning to understand the power in my hands. The same power you carry in your hands too. Once I understood what we can do with our hands, with our faces, with this knowledge – I had to help spread the word. That’s why, with the help of BOVISAJ founder Leila Haddioui, I curated some powerful trainings to help us boost our self-confidence, lift our eyebrows, release negative emotions and reclaim the power we have in our own hands. These sessions, along with many others, can be found on www.BOVISAJ.com. How transformational we can be in our own life, and how that power can affect those around us ✨✨Likes : 603

Caption : Resilience has become for many a “dirty,” overused word, and yet! We are resilient when we persist through obstacles. It is a skill that helps us process emotions, make decisions, and move forward, especially if it’s matched with a growth mindset, as well as analytical and critical thinking, problem solving skills. It supports us in overcoming challenges and recover from difficulties. Perseverance is one of my favorites: it means sticking with something, even when it gets tough or takes longer than you expected to succeed. I rely on perseverance every single day. As we’ve been exploring in the FUNTASIA SKILLS SERIES, while some of these skills are innate, they can, and in my opinion they must, be learned and strengthened, like a muscle 💪. Do you think children would benefit from these skills in their personal and professional lives? Tell me about your experiences.Likes : 545

Caption : From specific icing exercises for collagen production and lymphatic drainage which reduces our puffiness, debloats, and stimulates glow, Bovisaj has become an integral part of my routine getting ready. I make sure to do it before evenings out, special events, and shoots. For example, I did it in the morning before the Cannes Film Festival opening, and also when I went to the Venice film festival last year. It turned out on that occasion that I had gotten a bug from my children 🤒 who had a cold, and when I woke up I was so congested in the nose and throat. The @bovisaj session of exercises got me (and my face) back together. This is one of the aspects that sets them apart: they blend holistic inner wellness with aesthetics. Head on their platform now to discover the special routine before a night out called “Get Glowy”, the “Depuff and Deblock” or the “Blocked nose” available through membership in the Elisa Tips section. Our daily bad habits can make this asymmetry worse over time. The first and best way to address it is to understand our daily bad habits and how we can change them. Only brush our hair with our right hand? What about when we brush our teeth, do we use always the same hand? Do we carry our bag only on our right shoulder? It all adds up. Caption : The problem with limiting beliefs is that we don’t know we have them until we start to explore them. They come from things we were told as a child… From avoiding pain… They come from irrational fears… They come from false assumptions… Limiting beliefs hold us down, they hold us back, and act as self sabotage in the journey towards living the life we were born to live and realising our dreams. One of the methods I have found helpful to help overcome my limiting beliefs is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT): a technique where we tap our acupressure points to help us to reprogram our mind. Trauma stays stored in our body and this is a form of deep release. What are your limiting beliefs? What would you do if you could release them?Likes : 371

Caption : “Some days are simply described better than others,” as my linguistic intelligence mentor @paoloborzacchiello often says. I’ve recently started embracing this spirit, especially when it comes to birthdays, holidays, or even the start of a new year. What I mean is, really, it’s up to us to make every day a celebratory, joyful moment. Every day is a chance to level up our mindset and the quality of our lives—our self-care, and our relationships. It doesn’t need to be the beginning of a year to set or evaluate our intentions and goals. But it can be. Thinking of a year as a defined period can help us reflect and break our visions, goals, and intentions into smaller, less intimidating steps—making them more achievable and increasing our effectiveness in all areas of life. With @bovisaj, I’m excited to share three key intentions I’ve set for myself lately: 1. Staying conscious of my energy and gently shifting away from unhelpful thoughts. 2. Finding more lightness—balancing depth with moments of not taking things too seriously. 3. Consuming less and being more intentional with what I buy and why. As we go through our year, let’s remember that self-care doesn’t have to mean grand gestures. It lives in the small, deliberate choices we make every day. And yes, even a simple face workout can be a meaningful act of care—a small reflection of the bigger journey of nurturing ourselves, inside and out. ✨Likes : 368

I get emotional every single time I watch it- it shows in the words of the beneficiaries themselves, the power of quality education with a focus on social and emotional skills. It shows what is possible when we invest in heart and minds. The world as we know it can improve if we invest in it mindfully.

But just because it’s common doesn’t mean it has to stay this way. Through social and emotional education, we can change how we communicate, transforming the quality of our interactions, and create connection rather than disconnection. We can be kinder, and more respectful. Let’s challenge these norms and create a world where everyone feels heard and valued. This is why @funtasia was born.Likes : 297

Caption : Bullying, mocking, exclusion: things so many of us have experienced, either personally or in a classroom we’ve been part of. This is why at Funtasia, we work with educators and students to concretely shift this dynamic. There are ways to prevent hurtful behaviors before they start, and strategies we can all use to manage those moments when they happen. And maybe the most important part of the journey is learning to trust our own inner voice: deciding which words we’ll let in, which ones we’ll leave outside the door, and which ones we’ll transform into something that strengthens us. As my mentor and linguistic intelligence teacher @paoloborzacchiello writes in the book we co-wrote: “The words of others are like seeds that fall on the soil of our hearts: they can either brush off or take root. It depends on the type of soil, whether it is permeable or not.” Curious about how we approach this? 3. Caption : A while ago, someone told me I didn’t know how to breathe properly. That made me start paying more attention, especially in moments of stress. Breathing is a powerful tool. In my book 📕, we explore this with practical exercises. I also remember an in-person event we did with Bovisaj, where the practice of intentional hyperventilation surprised some people. They thought they were doing something wrong. It makes sense. Feeling lightheaded can be unsettling. I always tell my kids that making themselves hyperventilate when they are stressed is not helpful. But when done consciously, as in yoga’s fire breathing for example, it can be an incredible way to reset our energy. With Bovisaj, I have discovered that pairing breathwork with face fitness makes it even more effective. The combination of breath and facial exercises stimulates circulation, awakens muscles, and releases tension, creating a full-body refresh. Have you ever tried breathwork as part of your self-care? Becoming aware of the words we use can reshape how we relate to ourselves, strengthen connections with others, and build a growth, solution-oriented mindset. Words are powerful because our brains react by releasing hormones. Picture a world where teachers pass this science on to kids early on— it’s dopamine you’re feeling just thinking about it. Ensuring the quality of education for our children consistently rises is my goal, creating opportunities for education that improve our relationship with ourselves, the quality of our interactions, and promote a growth and solution-oriented mindset. It’s more than passion; it’s my purpose. In my eyes, the education of social and emotional skills is the solution, the foundation, the main tool we need to combat systemic inequality and injustice. It’s about learning to truly live and build together, rather than continuing to resort to violence and separation. It’s also about improving our leadership. Consider all the suffering we witness and how that could change. ***Continued in commentsLikes : 210

For Funtasia it’s about going beyond ‘safe’ to create spaces that are brave and trusting: places where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Instead of rules, we build agreements together, fostering an environment where individuals feel comfortable to be themselves, challenge one another, and grow collectively. Here, kindness and thoughtfulness aren’t imposed; they’re intrinsic. What does it take for a space to feel truly safe and brave? How can we trust each other to grow together? With natural disasters, wars, and ideological divides shaking our world, empathy is more than important: it is essential. It is the bridge that allows us to understand, connect, and build solutions together, that work for all of us. We often think that we are either born with the capacity to be empathetic or not. But the truth is, like other human competencies, empathy can be developed and strengthened. It is what makes us human, and it increases the quality of our lives. Our Funtasia professional development programs and youth workshops focus on practicing empathy in action because it is a skill that can be developed, shared, and multiplied. Caption : Identity is more than what people see in us or the groups we belong to. It is also what we choose to show the world. It is shaped by culture, experiences, and the spaces we move through, but underneath it all, the real question is: Who are we, really? As of 2023, 77.4% of K-12 students in California public schools come from diverse cultural backgrounds. By 2029, more than half of all U.S. public school students will. In Europe, up to 30% of students in countries like France, Sweden, and Germany are either born outside the EU or have a parent who was. Schools need to adapt their preparation to reflect this reality, ensuring that every student sees themselves represented and supported in their learning environment. This also means educators must examine their own identities and biases, recognizing how these influence the way they teach, communicate, and connect with students from different backgrounds. For young people, understanding identity means recognizing what shapes them and owning their story with confidence. For educators, this awareness is just as crucial. Teaching in a diverse world requires recognizing how personal identity and unconscious biases shape interactions with students. The more educators reflect on their own experiences and perspectives, the better they can create spaces where all students feel seen, respected, and empowered. Funtasia’s programs help both educators and learners explore identity as something fluid, evolving, and personal. In this video, teachers from our UCLA-supported training share powerful reflections on what identity means in the classroom and why it matters. These images are from the Funtasia Impact project implemented in 16 community schools in Assiut, Egypt, a collaboration with @sawiris.fsd and the Swiss embassy of Egypt. In this underserved area, challenges like verbal and physical violence, and misinformation about health practices are prevalent. Through the Funtasia adult training and support to teachers, education in these schools has evolved to be about more than just books and memorisation. It’s about playing, exploring, and truly engaging to achieve actual self-realization. Watching these images, I’m reminded of my visit to a volunteer-run school in Luxor in the summer of 2011. That experience that was a major turning point for me: I was reminded of the thirst for knowledge in young minds and the dedication of undervalued teachers, who, however, don’t all possess the appropriate, updated and systemic tools. The spark of the idea to bring cutting-edge educational methodologies to Egypt and beyond was ignited then. Today that dream has grown into a methodology implemented in 5 countries, working to transform the way education is perceived and delivered. There is still much to do for this project to become a broader, sustainable reality. In this video, watch as children and teachers share the changes Funtasia brought into their lives. Caption : One of the most profound gifts of this experience of the first Funtasia professional development training in the United States is hearing the teacher’s feedback. Funtasia in their own words! After these years developing, testing and continually updating this program, whenever you start in a new country and context, as much as you believe in the quality of the service you’re providing, the magic for us is seeing how everything lands and the connection, the sparkles in the educator’s eyes. It’s one of the things we cherish about learning with communities around the world. Caption : This powerful quote by Immanuel Kant is a poignant reminder that our primary goal in education is to support the building of intrinsic motivation. When children are motivated by external rewards or punishments, they may grow into adults who prioritize personal gain over ethical principles, instead of being driven by a genuine commitment to doing what is right, regardless of external influences. As educators and caregivers, it is our responsibility to cultivate a moral framework that transcends temporary compliance. This is a key component of how we design each Funtasia program: creating opportunities for the instillation of values such as empathy and integrity, and empowering young minds to navigate the complexities of the world with ethical clarity. We aim to nurture a generation that embodies inherent humanity and commitment to the greater good.Likes : 3
