“Some days are simply described better than others,” as my linguistic intelligence mentor @paoloborzacchiello often says. I’ve recently started embracing this spirit, especially when it comes to birthdays, holidays, or even the start of a new year. What I mean is, really, it’s up to us to make every day a celebratory, joyful moment. Every day is a chance to level up our mindset and the quality of our lives—our self-care, and our relationships. It doesn’t need to be the beginning of a year to set or evaluate our intentions and goals. But it can be. Thinking of a year as a defined period can help us reflect and break our visions, goals, and intentions into smaller, less intimidating steps—making them more achievable and increasing our effectiveness in all areas of life. With @bovisaj, I’m excited to share three key intentions I’ve set for myself lately: 1. Staying conscious of my energy and gently shifting away from unhelpful thoughts. 2. Finding more lightness—balancing depth with moments of not taking things too seriously. 3. Consuming less and being more intentional with what I buy and why. As we go through our year, let’s remember that self-care doesn’t have to mean grand gestures. It lives in the small, deliberate choices we make every day. And yes, even a simple face workout can be a meaningful act of care—a small reflection of the bigger journey of nurturing ourselves, inside and out. ✨

Bullying, mocking, exclusion: things so many of us have experienced, either personally or in a classroom we’ve been part of. This is why at Funtasia, we work with educators and students to concretely shift this dynamic. There are ways to prevent hurtful behaviors before they start, and strategies we can all use to manage those moments when they happen. And maybe the most important part of the journey is learning to trust our own inner voice: deciding which words we’ll let in, which ones we’ll leave outside the door, and which ones we’ll transform into something that strengthens us.
