Since becoming a mother, my perspective on movement and expression has evolved in profound ways. The journey of motherhood has awakened a newfound connection to my primal instincts and a desire to explore movement in a raw and untamed manner. But also to use the repetitive and mundane aspects of domestic life to create consecutive moving mantras about the emotional peaks and troughs of devotional love, boredom, exaltation, survival. To mark 20 years, the record has been remastered by the award-winning Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road Studios and will be accompanied by a treasure trove of early demos from 2005-6, alongside BBC Live Lounge and Rob Da Bank sessions. The special anniversary edition will be released on 180g audiophile black vinyl and as an expanded double CD, with unseen photography from the era. It will be released on February 13th 2026! Natasha Khan Instagram - Wow! Stunned and so happy that my Meltdown show sold out within hours of tickets going on sale! I am so grateful for every one of you that bought tickets and continue to support my career. Having only just returned to London this is honestly the best Welcome Home present I could have imaged, so thank you! I’m still settling in after the big move back and in the midst of figuring out being an artist and a mother. Thats all to say for those who missed out on the Southbank tickets, there will be more shows coming later into the year I promise! I’ve also been mixing the new album this week, so excited with how it’s sounding, and to be sharing this special piece of work with you later in the year too. I get to celebrate the life of my child. There is immense suffering in the world, and it is not lost on me that at this raw and poignant moment, I am releasing a piece of work about the sanctity of childhood; healing our inner child, the collective mother wound and the importance of universal connectedness. I hope this music translates what I want for everyone; to feel connected, in awe of nature and of life, grateful to co-exist on our planet. Natasha Khan Instagram - Today I announce my forthcoming film: 🌹”The Dream of Delphi - A New Transmission”🌹 An intimate visual narrative exploring the use of contemporary dance, performance art, poetry, landscape and music to meditate on the calling, creating and birthing of a child. This 30 minute piece explores both the human rawness and complexity that infused my experience and the mythical and universal realisations that occurred for me during my journey to and through motherhood. This film is created, like the album, as a maternal balm and document not only for my daughter Delphi, but for all of us, and hopes to celebrate and validate the power of the Mother for us all 🥚
Natasha Khan Instagram - One of the most memorable parts of creating the visual score for The Dream of Delphi, were the rehearsals surrounding the movement sequences. These sessions were vital in discovering some of the most vulnerable, authentic moments of the film - the places where truth and emotion intertwined. We played, created, and reworked, allowing the movement to evolve organically through structured improvisation. Always exploring and curious about what we would uncover. At the heart of The Midwives Have Left is a desire to embody the care midwives bring to the birth space - the acts of washing, brushing the mother’s hair, and offering gentle, sustaining attention. To celebrate the power of quiet ritual and sisterhood. Her First Morning follows the shifting emotions within a relationship, moving from frustration to joy, tenderness to playfulness. It traces how love stretches, softens, and reshapes itself in the face of change. Christmas Day symbolises the relationship after a child’s birth, one partner supports while the other sustains new life, and together they find a new closeness.
