Chris Burkard Instagram – Ever had to talk yourself into something? I had a pretty major pep talk with myself when I rode my bike into the harbor in Isafjordur at 2:30 AM and I knew I had to jump in. My body was destroyed and I could barely regulate my body temperature or eat food but there was nobody to blame but myself. I had helped make these rules with @tylerwacker and one of them was that the clock doesn’t stop until you get in the Arctic Ocean.
I really am grateful for the opportunity to have this moment documented, the audio is priceless and I feel like the footage of the whole ride will give a peak into the beauty of the place and the challenge .
