We’ve been witnessing these nightmarish scenes for almost a year. The abject decimation of the Gaza Strip and her people. As each day continues with no ceasefire in sight, I feel a terrible sense of profound outrage, disbelief and shame at the endless cruelty being inflicted.
Scenes like these are unbearable. I believe in the values of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, but they are being ignored and invalidated. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like this before.. it makes everything feel utterly dystopian, which it actually is. I’m not religious, but I pray for ceasefire and an end to this hell on earth.
