India is home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna. Our forests sequester carbon, recharge ground water, feed our rivers and regulate the climate. India has over 70% of the world’s one-horned rhinos, 70% of wild tigers, 60% of the world’s asiatic elephants, the worlds only remaining wild asiatic lion population. It is thanks to our rangers that these incredible creatures are still with us and all the life services our forests provide is possible. Let’s give them respect, love and support 🇮🇳🐯🙏🏻
