Our dearest father Tony Clabby has passed away on this fine day, the 12th day of Christmas, Nollaig na mBán, Little Christmas, the Epihany, and the day of the Kings, after three sacred days of gathering, holding, laughing, accepting, harmonising and loving he passed gently. We are heartbroken but truly grateful. More than anyone I’ve ever met, Dad was pure LOVE. As he said himself only hours ago, he’s had a great time, it’s time to go easy, it’s time to go to Madge. And true love lives forever. ❤️ Thanks to all the amazing absolute angels in #stjameshospitaldublin

Smile though your heart is aching Smile even though it’s breaking When there are clouds in the sky, you’ll get by If you smile through your fear and sorrow Smile and maybe tomorrow You’ll see the sun come shining through for you Light up your face with gladness Hide every trace of sadness Although a tear may be ever so near That’s the time you must keep on trying Smile, what’s the use of crying? You’ll find that life is still worthwhile If you just smile That’s the time you must keep on trying Smile, what’s the use of crying? You’ll find that life is still worthwhile If you just smile #riptonyclabby ❤️
A recent message to you all from our Dad Tony I honestly never met anyone who loved life more. He didn’t dwell on past or worry for the future. He lived for every joyous moment. He really loved meeting people. Please share with us your stories of meeting him…..
This is how we celebrate the new year in the liberties for as long as i can remember. 2 mins before 12 o clock my grand dad sweeps the old year out and then welcomes the new year at the statue. #newyear #liberties #dublin #2024

An ancient Irish tradition is to leave a cloak, shawl or scarf out this sacred night as we await our Goddess Brigids arrival to bless with morning dew as she passes at sunrise. She signals the start of Imbolc marking the halfway point between winter equinox and spring solstice when the natural world begins to stretch its head from deep slumber and days begin to get longer. Maybe if we’ve sat within our darkness she signifies the awakening coming our way. She brings Hope. The blessed scarves are then used throughout the year for healing and comfort when needed. Wrapping and soothing our hurt in love and good energy. Tomorrow 1st Feb is the feast day of Brigid. 💚 @loubrennandesign Galway shawl. @jenniferrothwelldesign Brigid scarf #bratbhride #bratbhríde #brigidscloak #brigidsday #imbolc #imbolcblessings #goddessbrigit #irishtradition
