Some people dress sexy on #Halloween… We had our door contest at work. I was hoping to get something nice like It’s the great pumpkin Charlie Brown!! Much to my dismay I got… TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE! So I made my door interactive conplete with a short film and a story about how i was pleatherface- wearing the real skin of cabbage- for Texas Coleslaw Massacre- also served coleslaw! I will post the movie next. Also- no excuses – but Getting sick really cut into my time to prepare. I really wanted my door to be covered in my watercolor flowers. We had such a great time celebrating my daughter. Because of covid, she didn’t get a graduation, confirmation or sweet 16 party- so we wanted to make this trip really special. We stayed for two nights at the nicest hotel I have ever seen!!!! Had the most decadent and delicious breakfast ever. And we got to celebrate the first half of the trip with my sister and family. Religion can build community, and do so much good in the world- but also can teach hate. How many wars have been fought over religion? I was indoctrinated into Christianity. All religions basically have the same core- love others as yourself, love your neighbor… It is important to question your religion. Is it teaching me to hate and ostracize a group of people? I still have faith. I found a church that wecomes and loves all people- no matter who they love. My pastor is gay and married to man. Love is love. 🌈💕 Happy Pride! Hope you know you are loved, and… hope you get to see this show – Angel of Arkansas.

A heart filled with Gratitude helps you give more freely. As artists we rarely know when our next job is coming. We are always hustling. It is really hard to take time off to just be. I took a family trip to celebrate my daughter’s graduation!! 💕So proud! Of course I had to turn down a job, but getting to celebrate her and make those memories is worth it! I feel like I grew spiritually and creatively- just by taking a step back. My heart is full I am ready to serve and lift others up. I would love to give back.
