This time last year I was in a dark place, I questioned everything including my existence, my failed relationships, my recurring wounds. It was a milestone year and I made it a point to fully embrace who I was and accept that the only thing I could control was myself and what I wanted to invite into my life. After multiple retreats, both hosting and attending, participating in workshops to help me self-reflect in a safe space, so many realisations taught me to shift my perspective and allow the love of my life to be seen. This community has had a front row seat to my silly stories, antics and mistakes. You have seen me go through my worst and feel the unworthiness cloaked over my back. In many moments, I have felt unqualified to lead but this community has shown me that the right intentions and the purest heart trumps the brokenness we feel. The lifelong friendships that have been derived from this community has ben gold. My call is for those who feel helpless, aimless or doubtful, to consider working on yourself and build more awareness to work on the wounds that have been making choices for you. All those years ago, our favorite fearless visionary knew and what a gift it was to be able to throw her the most special bridal blessing for her nearest and dearest with @hannahpatricialo and @thejasexplains. . They flew in from all corners of the world, holding with each of them a special part of @imsarahlian that told the story of who she is – kind, generous, bold, loving, honest, true. . My favorite part was just the intimacy to be let in and get just a little glimpse into the depth of friendships and sisterhood shared, the stories, the moments, how wildly loved she is and how wildly she loves. . Wedding Preparation Appreciation Post! I had to find spots in my schedule to prepare for my big day and it was soooo worth it! In the last week, I squeezed in my last appointments. Hair by @shawncutlergroup, I’ve been discussing with @mavisang_sc on the hair colour I wanted for my big day and we managed to do a round of colour toning beforehand so my hair wouldn’t look fried! Lashes @lashingmy, I knew I would cry like a mad woman and fake lashes weren’t going to cut it. I can’t keep trying to paste falsies everytime my eyes would well up, so I tried their new LED technology and even after 3 weeks they’ve stayed on! Stay tuned for my review soon! Nails by @apronbay, one of my inspirations was a white cat eye with milky tips. I wanted something that was subtle and classic at the same time. Boy, did they deliver! 💅🏻 Skin by @clique_clinic, thank you @drtiffanytee for helping my skin with treatments to tighten my pores and get that extra glow! Having good skin helps with makeup staying power.✨ Massage and Bath by Kak Ida, the special preparations helped me get ready for the day ahead.
