What an unbelievable year so far, it was my yes year! I’ve traveled a ton! Spent such a meaningful time with friends, took better care of myself than ever before. I’ve watched my son get married! I’m grateful every single day for this unbelievable life I’ve been given and created. I don’t take it for granted. I rest and don’t feel guilty. I still give a lot to others and am of service, but also have boundaries, I speak my mind, but don’t try to control outcomes. I still wish some things were different of course, but no regrets ! I except what I do have, and choose to focus on the incredible good…. Thank you family Thank you friends Thank you to all of the people who have shaped who I have become The good and the bad;-) This is 50 !

The incredible patriarch of my family, my Grandfather/pop Matthew Henstridge passed away today. A more special, kind, hard working ,compassionate man was never born. When I started in this business, they asked me to change my last name, I refused, in the largest part because of my pride to be part of such an incredible family, thanks to him and of course my dad! I am so proud to be his granddaughter and to have gotten to spend so many years with him. He was 97 years old. He is the father to 12 incredible kids, my aunt and uncles who are the closest family I’ve ever seen and always there for each other no matter the disagreements or changes of life, Several of them were holding his hand today, many of the others on their way to him. He took care of my grandmother who passed several years ago for so many years as she had a lot of illness in life. He was selfless, smart, kind and a very snappy dresser. He somehow managed to make time for his countless grandchildren . He even wrote a book a few years ago. It’ll be cherished even more as the years pass by. I love you pop, now and always. Fly with the angels and I know nan and Marion were there to greet you. Until we meet again in the hereafter. Sending you so much love🤍🕊️

One Year already. I look at the first photo we ever took together and the last, all of the ones in between 18 years of memories… My heart filled with thousands of the most incredible moments of my life Everyday I Light a candle Shed tears And still can’t wrap my head around it. Still cry WHY!! I could never imagine a world without you in it and here we are I’m so grateful to you for shaping and allowing teaching forgiving and loving… You’ve left so much behind You forever changed everyone you ever met, in some way, big or small Mostly big Like you Like your heart Like your warmth your voice Your laugh your hug your song your gifts You made people feel seen and heard, loved and understood You took on their feelings, their cares like they were your own with your big fearless Lion heart Made them feel your magic You loved so intensely, so passionately You lived so fully in your 41 years The veil is thin You are everywhere now, all of the time Your song always in my ear.. Parenting… the constant art of holding on tightly and letting go gently. It was soul nourishing to spend time with my son after so long, he lives on the other side of the country now and has a life all his own. All I ever wanted was my son to be happy. I see that he is!
