Natasha Henstridge Instagram – The incredible patriarch of my family, my Grandfather/pop Matthew Henstridge passed away today. A more special, kind, hard working ,compassionate man was never born. When I started in this business, they asked me to change my last name, I refused, in the largest part because of my pride to be part of such an incredible family, thanks to him and of course my dad! I am so proud to be his granddaughter and to have gotten to spend so many years with him. He was 97 years old.
He is the father to 12 incredible kids, my aunt and uncles who are the closest family I’ve ever seen and always there for each other no matter the disagreements or changes of life, Several of them were holding his hand today, many of the others on their way to him. He took care of my grandmother who passed several years ago for so many years as she had a lot of illness in life. He was selfless, smart, kind and a very snappy dresser. He somehow managed to make time for his countless grandchildren . He even wrote a book a few years ago. It’ll be cherished even more as the years pass by. I love you pop, now and always.
