Second hand September sizzlers I have always loved buying vintage and pre loved clothing. It all started as a kid as we would almost exclusively shop at Wembley market which back in the 80s and 90s was a hodge podge of new stuff, second hand stuff and fake perfumes. I loved those weekend shopping sprees more than anything and picked up many a bottle of watered down CK ONE perfume. Over the years I’ve picked up so many cool and unique pieces in markets and shops all over the place. Outfit one I’m wearing a second hand sequin top my husband found me in a vintage shop in Somerset.🦋 The lace dress in outfit two I bought twenty years ago in LA. I’ve worn it many times since. The green jacket in outfit three is a recent purchase from a second hand shop in Ibiza Old Town.☀️ The floaty dress I got maybe over twenty years ago now from Camden (I think) and yes they are my luminous green knickers you can see. I couldn’t find a slip in time. And lastly a vintage YSL top and Vivienne Westwood skirt both bought online for a bargain. Skirt needs an iron. Dopamine dressing all the way with vibrant colours and miss match pieces. Heaven. 🌈

#AD Strawberry, California Walnut & Date Smoothie 🍓 I love starting my day with a smoothie, and this recipe from @walnuts_UK we filmed a few week’s ago is absolutely delicious! Walnuts are the only tree nut to contain a significant amount of the plant-based omega-3, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is great if you’re plant-based like me. A handful of walnuts also contains a variety of nutrients including protein and fibre and are good for your brain, heart and gut health, so they’re a great nut to include in your recipes. I particularly like using walnuts grown in California because they’re milder and creamier in taste thanks to the fertile soils and warm climate. Pro tip: Store them in the fridge to keep them fresher for longer. If you want to try this recipe for yourself, I’ve popped it below, but head over to California Walnuts for even more inspiration! ✨ Recipe below: 1 cup strawberries ¼ cup California walnuts 2 dates, pitted 1 cup almond milk Blend and enjoy! Let me know if you try it! 💛 Ingredients 200g strawberries halved 50g California Walnuts plus extra to serve 3 pitted dates roughly chopped 100g natural yogurt or vegan alternative 100ml milk or plant-based milk i.e. oat Instructions Place all the ingredients in a smoothie maker or blender and blitz until smooth.
