Sometimes it’s spoken about but then it’s quickly replaced by another topic. Please don’t let this pass as a mere “incident”. If you know someone who is dealing with something similar, reach out to them. If you’ve seen someone behave inappropriately, say something about it. The only way things will ever really have a lasting change is if we collectively decide that we don’t want to allow ourselves or the people we love to be treated as a piece of meat. Something to judge solely on appearances. That mental and emotional health should take a backseat to image and marketability.
