Online ve yüz yüze olarak gerçekleştirdiğimiz bu eğitimlerin yarattığı dönüşümü görmek beni inanılmaz mutlu ediyor. Kurucusu Thomas Lauderdale’in Noel partisine davetliydim ve orada çekilmiş bir kare düştü önüme…tabi anılar, o zamanın duygu ve durumları da kovaladı haliyle.. Amerika’ya taşınalı henüz 2,5 sene olmuştu. Ruhum, kalbim Türkiye’mde, bedenimse buradaydı… Bakmayın hep güler gördünüz beni, içimde ne fırtınalar atlattım dindirene kadar! Çok da iyi olmuş o da ayrı konu… Bazen, toprağın bereketini arttırmak için nasıl havalandırmak gerekirse, ruhu da havalandırmak alt üst etmek gerekiyormuş daha fışkırarak büyü diye. Thomas’ın evi -daha doğrusu- “binasının” giriş katı prova alanı, 3 kuyruklu piano, kocaman bir projektör ve Portland’ın sanat dünyasının en üst tabakası orada… Opera sanatçılarıcı, sanatçılar, ressamlar ve bir de “kanadı kırık” Türk kızı… Her saat başı pianoya oturuyor Thomas ve insanlar çıkıp şarkı söylüyor, arya patlatıyor, armonilerle noel parçaları söyleniyor biz de bir yerlerinden melodiye yapışmaya çalışıyoruz… harika bir ortam anlayacağınız. Pink Martini’nin repertuarında Türkçe parça da olduğundan biri “Türkçe’de çal” diye bağırıyor, Thomas da diyor ki, “e çalayım da kim söyleyecek”, arkamdan demin tanıştığım biri beni itekliyor bağırarak, “Burada bir Türk var, o söylesin!” Aaahahah… oolduuuu!! ….Bazen hayatta birilerinin bizi itelemesi gerekiyor, kanatların düştüğünde altından hafif de olsa bir rüzgarı hissetmek iyi geliyor… Hatırla kendini, kanatlarının olduğunu ve aslında uçmak için rüzgarların esmesini beklemen gerekmediğini hatırlamak…sen yeter ki çırp kanatlarını… İşte ancak o zaman kendi rüzgarını kendin yaratacaksın…. Hatırla…..kanatlarını olabildiğince aç, kanatlarına güven ve çırpmaya başla…. İşte o kadar! Öyle de oldu… olmaya devam ediyor… Bu mesajı duyması, okuması gerekenlere gelsin!!
