Demet Tuncer Instagram – Wow what a night!!
Being the performance coach for The Immigrant Story Live is more than a role—it’s a deep honor and a calling.
Stories have the power to heal, and I am constantly inspired and in awe of the resilience, determination, and courage each storyteller brings to the stage. And I am so humbled in helping them bring the stories to life on stage with impact and authenticity.
For every storyteller who steps onto that stage, the experience is uniquely theirs. Yet, the moment they begin to speak, the story becomes ours to carry, to learn from, and to share with others. It’s in these moments that we build bridges, foster understanding, and create a more inclusive world. The storytellers open their hearts to us, share their most vulnerable moments and their words leave a lasting impact on our community.
A huge thank you to all the storytellers Toc Soneoulay-Gillespie, MSW, Toby Loftus, Jeanette Muibi, Mohsin Jamal for their bravery in sharing their journeys, to Sankar Raman for his visionary leadership, to Stacy Waters for her keen eye and ensuring everything runs smoothly, to Todd Baize for bringing calm, control, and support to our audio tech world, to Nancy Dollahite for developing the stories into scripts for me to work on, to all the volunteers, and to everyone who came out to support this unforgettable evening. And thank you @seffarinemusic, for creating a magical atmosphere with their rich rhythms, instrunments and amazing sound! @run_downhill @bobaxiom
Together, we are changing the world—one story at a time.
See you May 24th at The Reser…. Let’s do this again!
