with the man of my dreams might i add 🤪 as this trip is coming to an end, i can’t help but think of how much my views on life have changed even in the past year. from feeling burnt out bc of toxic hustle culture to finding peace in the unknown, it feels freeing to finally be at a point in life where you’re learning to *let go* and be one with the wind.
bolly baddies for LIFE ❤️ from latoo to lazy lamhe, i’m so grateful to get to bring together a group of people who are there not only to dance but to share a space with other like minded and supportive baddies. i didn’t always feel like i *fit in* growing up – i tried to be more “American”, I tried to be more “trendy”, i even tried to put other people down sometimes to make other kids think i was cooler. but i know now that these classes were meant to be more than just a dance class. it’s my safe space. it’s OUR safe space. to not be afraid of taking up space and living our best lives. for sure some days are harder to show up than others, but that’s the whole point of having a community right? because the feeling of leaving each class a bit more confident and connected, is what matters to me.
