💚Full video on YouTube 💚 Beneath the towering trash of Ghazipur lies a deadly secret …toxic chemicals leaching into Delhi’s air and water, while illegal dairies operating in and around the landfill pump unregulated, cancer-linked milk into homes across the city. This is the dark underbelly of pollution, corruption, and cruelty — and it’s on your plate. Checkout the investigation with @gauri_maulekhi_ and @kindnesswithamy ! India can take some serious notes from energy efficient places such as Singapore. Here’s how they turn waste into energy — and what India can steal 👇 ♻️ Waste-to-Energy Plants Burn waste, cut volume by 90%, power the city. No open landfills, just clean ash buried offshore. 🚯 Mandatory Segregation Blue bins. Big fines. Everyone recycles — no excuses. 🏭 Make Producers Pay Bought it? You’re responsible for its waste. That includes dairy and plastic giants. 🧠 Smart Bins Data Dashboards Sensors track waste levels. AI helps plan pickups. No illegal dumping. 🚨 India, it’s time to upgrade our trash game. Ghazipur isn’t just a mountain — it’s a warning. #WasteManagement #SingaporeModel #GhazipurLandfill #DelhiPollution #CircularEconomy #SmartCitiesIndia #KindnessWithAmy

Where do all those Blinkit and Zomato orders end up once we toss the packaging? And why should we care? 🤔 🎥 Full video on YouTube in partnership with @beachpleaseindia 🇮🇳 India is now the world’s largest plastic polluter, generating 9.3 million tonnes of plastic waste every year…nearly 20% of the global total. More than China. More than Indonesia. More than Nigeria. Here’s why: ♻️ Poor waste systems – 77% of urban waste is dumped untreated. 🔥 Open burning – 5.8M tonnes of plastic are burned yearly, releasing toxic pollutants into the air we breath. 🧴 Single-use plastics – Still 43% of total waste, despite bans. Enforcement is weak (surprise surprise). And it’s affecting you: 💧 Microplastics found in 83% of India’s tap water. 🐠 80% of marine litter is plastic…killing ecosystems. 😷 Toxic air from burning plastic is linked to cancer & respiratory disease. 💸 USD 133 billion in lost value by 2030 if this continues. Checkout the full documentary on YouTube and learn what you can do to help!

If Hinduism is rooted in ahimsa (non-violence), how can anyone who eats meat truly call themselves Hindu? Ahimsa is not optional in Hinduism, it’s a foundational principle, emphasized in the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, and by revered sages like Mahavira, Patanjali, and even Gandhi. It extends to all living beings. The Manusmriti, one of the oldest texts governing Hindu ethics, literally says: “He who does not seek to cause the suffering of bondsmen or of animals attains supreme happiness.” (Manusmriti 5.45) Hindu rituals like the yajna once involved symbolic offerings, but were never intended to justify industrial-scale animal cruelty or daily meat consumption. Many Hindus follow vegetarianism as a sattvic (pure) lifestyle …essential for spiritual progress. So how does killing a sentient being for taste align with dharma? The sad truth is: modern culture often cherry-picks spirituality. It’s easy to light a diya and visit a temple, but much harder to give up meat, even if it goes against the very essence of your religion. #Hinduism #Dharma #Vegan #VegNonVeg

If you are religious, let’s consider some facts. *Disclaimer* we are not against any religion, but we encourage critical thinking as all ideas must evolve with the times! Consider this, deep down, every major religion acknowledges one simple truth: needless violence is wrong. Let’s break it down: 🌙 Islam The Qur’an permits eating meat only with compassion. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Whoever is kind to the creatures of God is kind to himself.” Halal slaughter requires minimizing suffering, and killing for pleasure, waste, or excess is haram. If you don’t need it? You’re accountable. “Do not cause harm or return harm.” (Hadith). With this all in mind, can we honestly say that we are eating meat because we “need to” or because we “want to?” ✝️ Christianity Genesis says God gave humans “every seed-bearing plant and fruit” for food — not animals. Jesus is never recorded eating meat in the Bible. Compassion and mercy are central Christian values. Proverbs 12:10: “The righteous care for the needs of their animals.” Eating animals when you don’t need to? That’s gluttony and cruelty — both sins. 🕉️ Hinduism Ahimsa (non-violence) is a core tenet. Hurting animals for taste violates dharma. Cows are considered sacred — but even beyond that, many Hindus believe all life is interconnected. Karma teaches that harming sentient beings when not necessary brings suffering back to you. So why do we justify it if we align with any of these religions? Because religion is often interpreted to match culture; not truth. And in every culture, taste and habit often override ethics. But if you’re living in abundance, and have access to plant-based foods… Every religious, moral, and spiritual argument points to one thing: Harming animals when you don’t need to… isn’t just unkind. It’s unjustifiable.
