Carrying a film or story idea from conception to completion is not for the faint of heart and no two roads are the same. What every filmmaker will need though is the resilience required to hold faith in your process to see your vision through.
Proof of concepts are a relatively new format for independent filmmakers and have become an increasingly important asset. There are more opportunities for high-concept indie series, and investors often expect to see proof of your vision and capacity before committing to feature deals, even in the low-budget range.
