Ever thought about where your gold comes from? The gold in your iPhone or wedding ring? Or those bars of gold stacked away for “security”? The Ese Eja of Peru are just one of thousands of indigenous communities paying the price for our gold lust. I recently visited them to bear witness to the destruction and devastation in my own country. More on this to come 💔
