reflecting on my visit to @haydos_org last week. My sis @laramelda introduced me to this beautiful animal sanctuary where she adopted one of her sweet fur babies from. The the walk-around was a humbling experience- witnessing the level of compassion shown to these abandoned animals. @haydos_org ‘s loving devotion to these previously unloved, cast out and sometimes disabled creatures moved me so deeply!!! The world desperately needs more unconditional love and compassion and @haydos_org truly is a haven for it. 🫏 🩷

this week I attended a special screening of the groundbreaking soul-shaking @palestine36film hosted by @britainowespalestine . @britainowespalestine ‘s campaign is working to urge the British Government to formally acknowledge Britain’s role in the ongoing suffering in Palestine, issue a sincere apology and provide meaningful reparations to the Palestinian people. Britain unlawfully acted as an occupying power following the Balfour declaration in 1917, Palestinians were subject to a widespread pattern of murder, torture and persecution under British rule from 1917-1948 – three decades of systemic breaches of the international law standards that applied at the time including repeated war crimes. Britain played a central role in the 1948 partition, shaping and enabling the divisions of today. Brits ! Do check out @britainowespalestine ‘s campaign, and I cannot recommend @palestine36film enough. It’s the film of the year. Beautiful groundbreaking soul-shaking film. ♥️
