Mary Steenburgen Instagram – A huge thank you to everyone involved for the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre Gala in NYC at the Tavern on the Green last week. I was honored to be one of the two recipients of the first Sanford Meisner Award, and the other going to my longtime friend, Pamela Moller. Sandy was my teacher and a huge inspiration to me as a young actor and still is to this day. I love the award, which represents the Playhouse’s red door. I still get emotional every time I walk through it at 340 east 54th street. I will treasure this award, memories of Sandy and the Playhouse and that beautiful Gala night always.
