We’re in Liverpool at the Labour Party Conference with a clear message to the UK government: act now to stop what the UN Commission of Inquiry has concluded is a genocide in Gaza. Over 65,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, including 20,000 children. Each life was someone’s everything: their entire universe. The UK must hold Israel accountable and suspend all arms transfers, including components for F-35 fighters jets that rain terror on civilians. The majority of the UK public, and nearly 70% of people who voted Labour in the last election, agree we should stop licensing the export of F-35 parts to Israel. Keir Starmer and Yvette Cooper must act now to end the UK Government’s ongoing complicity and ensure accountability for the lives that have been taken, as is demanded by their obligations under international law.

Still, as ever it was saved by a wonderful team, and the utterly gorgeous and accurate @harrietgibsone – congratulations on your book ‘Is This Ok’.
