Too many women in Pakistan are thrown out of their own homes during disputes, left with nowhere to go and no safety to hold on to. Today in the National Assembly I introduced the Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2025 to change that.
This bill makes it a criminal offence for any husband or family member to unlawfully evict a wife from her shared home. It protects her right to live in safety, dignity and equality and it sends a powerful message that women will no longer be pushed out of the place they call home.
Together we can make sure a woman’s home remains a place of security, not fear. ✊🇵🇰
