Happy Dhanteras to all those celebrating! As someone who doesn’t own or buy gold jewellery myself, my relationship with Goddess Lakshmi has always been tenuous. But the abundance of love and family remains my greatest asset and something that has been instilled through the years during this auspicious time as we lead into Diwali.
While Princess Chandrika of Beecham House behind the scenes (pictured with the baby Twindians!) is a bit more my jam, the significance of today in the lives of so many is something I’ll always celebrate. Coming together with a common goal and vision raises our consciousness… so may you be showered with all that your desire on this day of supreme abundance!

The morning I was due to move to my first beach town abode in this country, a tsunami warning was declared for the entire east coast of Australia. Bad omen? Maybe. Had a very rocky start to my interstate exchange program. But it’s been a fitting reminder that as tides change & new challenges arise, keeping consciousness supreme might just make us a winner no matter what the circumstance. Time to affirm the shit out of this!

Reminiscing on the year gone by….
While I sit amidst what I like to call a Cove transit point in my journeying; the type of sojourn that forces me back into the cave, to reconnect with the shadows and the darkness, so that my next bright light adventure can release more… I’m wondering at the corners in which I found myself, the places that I dared to go, also reflecting on the points at which the fear got me and plonked me back into a safe box.
The October 2021 night lights of Centro in Mexico City reminded me eerily and yet ecstatically of Mumbai. The Mumbai that, when asleep, has creative wizardry brewing in its crevices. The Mumbai that was once my regular Cove but now feels like a past life mirage.
My travels of 2021 were like a time-space warp that opened me back up, that took away the relativity that had skewed the previous decade. They started snapping things back into their universal shape.
