For all those who think they are late bloomers🌺 I didn’t have my first kiss until my seventeenth birthday at the stroke of midnight. It wasn’t at all the scenario that I had pictured it to be, but it was actually the most perfect experience for who I was then, and I would never change it. I was ready. I had wondered for years if something was wrong with me, and my mom’s friend wisely advised “just you wait, because once it starts, it never ends”. She was right 🙂 You are YOU and no one else will know when you are ready to do ANYTHING until you do. I have always been the blossom that opens her petals later in the season, and nothing sexual ever occurred in the way I expected it to (you know, the idea that you’re lifelong friends and then one day you admit to each other that you love each other and then you kiss and date and have sex and fall forever into a deeper love and wow you’ve known that you were each others’ soulmates since you were six years old- or something along those lines 😉 but every experience I’ve had was with the right person, a kind person, a good person, a time that fit right into my path. I ALSO WANT TO SAY that if you shared kisses, or had sex, or tried alcohol, or tried drugs (or whatever) during a time that you felt was too early for you, NOTHING WAS STOLEN FROM YOU. This is a part of your journey and YOU get to decide what is your truest initiation into anything sexual or otherwise. You don’t LOSE your virginities. You never LOSE. You are only gaining in self. Always. Besos 💋

I turned 30 earlier this year and I love it! I’m so happy to be moving forward! Until I was 18, all through my childhood I fought getting older, mourning the past, and then I said: enough of that!!! It’s exhausting and wasted energy. Let’s be right here, right now! Getting older is the only option we have, so let’s embrace it!! I’ve experienced more, can help more people, can give more, can feel more, can get more wrinkles, can get more silver hairs! And then one day I can dye my silver hair blue!

Gloria Walton, President and CEO of The Solutions Project, talks America’s “original sin”, gives background on her journey with climate justice, and expounds on how you can get involved. We also discuss the climate event that transpired in Texas, Mississippi, and other parts of the South. In support of those impacted by the extreme weather, we have donated to T.E.J.A.S. as they help restore electricity and water shutoffs and advocate for environmental justice reform in frontline and fenceline communities in Texas. Was the sperm that met the egg out of MILLIONS and you are H E R E in this blip of infinite time breathing in cool fresh air and feeling the warm sun on your goosebumpy skin and having your heart completely broken and sobbing with grief and laughing with ecstasy and eating with delectable joy and feeling lusty for all things lustful and petting a cat. You are doing all of these magical things that sweet nature has handed to you, and you will continue to live out this time in full wonder! You are divine, you sweet, sweet soul! You color changing mushroom, you!!!!!
She was chopping onions with that protective gear. Btw, I used to do kitchen prep work in college and would have to chop trays of onions, and when the stinging got really bad, you would run to a walk-in freezer and rip your eyes open, and it helped immediately. Also if you put your onions in the fridge, it’s much easier to chop them. Also, onions are EASILY my LEAST FAVORITE FOOD, I DESPISE them. But I have trained myself to cook with them- they must be completely obliterated essentially (like in a soup), for me to eat them. And NO, I do NOT like caramelized onions. But I am thankful for my two person harvest feast this year 🧡 I love my dearest friends, my dearest family, my dear partner- I can be flighty and run around and be outta sight outta mind, but there are people who have stayed by my side and I love their spirits and want them by my side always and we will lift together to the heavens and bask in the warm, warm sun. You’re all welcome to join us there 🌞

This week we are speaking with Lucie Hammecke: a representative for the German Green Youth party. She is the youngest member of parliament in Saxony-Anhalt (a state in Germany) at 24 years old, and is passionate about women’s rights, equality, and (naturally 😉 the environment 🌿
So we will be waxing poetical about the European Green Deal today! The Green New Deal got its wings in the US, became a global youth movement, and has truly taken shape in Europe. This has been championed by young people, and it’s exciting to see how their power has incited change.
This week we will be donating to The Human Impacts Institute: an organization using arts and creativity to get the word out on climate change. Check them out!

I cameoed in this glorious film! Dead Pigs was directed by my dear friend @cathyyan , with my partner @davidrysdahl cast as one of the phenomenal ensemble that drives the film. He was hired for the movie and so we went to Shanghai together- I just tagged along to chill on set and discover the city. Halfway through shooting, they needed an actor for a bit role, and since I was loafing around- they asked me! So I said YES! Managed to sneak myself into the movie 😉 even if I’m only in there for two minutes. DEAD PIGS is out February 12th on MUBI 🐷 So grateful that I had the joyful opportunity to work with this glittering team. Thank you Shanghai for your energy, electricity, and vibrant spirit ✨#deadpigsfilm
