From movies, to TV, to photoshoots, red carpets, press junkets around the world, storytelling led me to traveling. Traveling led me to the animals, animals led me to the people and that’s when I learned if we don’t work towards healing humans, we’ll never be able to heal the animals, let alone the planet. My business partner @captainhappy.us and I both have different journeys that led us to creating @moveme.studio but it all led us to joining forces and creating our NGO Abundant Village. Nothing makes me more excited about the relationships we’ve built and the mini empire that’s come together to make it a reality. 2 years later, same place, same overalls, different boots, 2 babies, one furry… same project finally in action! Good things take time. Projects, relationships, friendships, all of it. It is so good to be back in South Africa implementing Abundant Village and seeing all the faces we’ve built relationships with over the last 7 years. Nothing happens over night, chase your passion, follow your dreams, don’t ever give up on the things you love or the people you love and that love you back. Necker island… a trip that continues to carry on in my bones and soul! Can’t remember the last time I came home from a trip and was still this inspired 2 months later. It was quite the honor and humbling to speak and be surrounded by incredible humans all doing astounding work around the world tying philanthropy and passion to make planet earth a better place. Grateful for the new support system that I couldn’t have dreamed of, that continues to challenge me every day, keeping me in a state of awe while knowing everyone I met is living their purpose. Thankful to have stood by these people and to have been invited into a family of a life time. I know together we can inspire many, keep doing good wherever we go, positively impacting the planet now, for us, and for the generations to come.
