Hanging out with my brother Larry Johnson, 2X Super Bowl Champion and NFL Hall of Famer Darrell Green, Super Bowl Champion and NFL Hall of Famer Doug Williams, my great friend and Cigna President of North America Mike Triplett, and his cousin Claude at today’s Commanders game. My Commanders came up short again to the Eagles 38-31.
I’m so excited to announce that we acquired Atlanta Life Insurance Company! I am honored to continue the rich history of this organization and the legacy of Founder Alonzo Herndon. We share so many of the same values and his life story is incredible! He was born into slavery and became the first Black millionaire in Atlanta, Georgia. He started with barbershops and his real estate portfolio and went on to build the largest Black-owned Insurance company in the country! Alonzo Herndon was about dreaming big, investing in the Black community, and building sustainable Black businesses. The foundation of his company lines up perfectly with my brand and is a great fit into my portfolio.
I want to thank my business partner Eric Holoman and Executive Vice President Ryan Smith who will be in charge of all day-to-day business for Atlanta Life Insurance Company and leading this process. A special thank you to my great friends John and Vicki Palmer for all you did to make yesterday’s event a huge success. Thank you to the incredible Mayor of Atlanta Andre Dickens for welcoming us to the city. We had the who’s who of Atlanta come out so thank you to all of the incredible business leaders, celebrities, and entertainers like Ludacris, Michael Mauldin, Jermaine Dupri, Nene Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, H. J. Russell & Company CEO Michael Russell, wife of Ambassador Andrew Young Carolyn Young, Tricky Steward, Makeda Stewart, Audra Pittman, Sean Pittman, Tameka Foster, Kim Paige, Partner and Co-Head UTA Atlanta Robert Gibbs, Former President and CEO of Atlanta Life Insurance Bill Clement, Rosalind and John Brewer, and so many more for coming to support us yesterday!

I want to thank the entire executive team at Gartner for allowing me to give the keynote for their Gartner IT Symposium North America! They had 10,000 attendees from around the world participate. 5,000 were in the room with me and another 5,000 watched remotely. Distinguished VP Analyst Tina Nunno moderated an incredible session where talked about how i built my business and how my companies, and others, can utilize technology and artificial intelligence.
So many attendees got emotional during the meet and greet because it was their dream to meet me!

I want to thank Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) President and Founder Geoffrey Canada and and Co-Founder, William Julius Wilson Institute at HCZ Kwame Owusu-Kesse for allowing me to speak at the HCZ Power of Place Convening this evening in New Orleans! Over 500 leaders and community stakeholders joined the formal reception.
I admire how the Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) is a network of programs serving K-12 through college, that serves thousands of low-income students and families in Central Harlem in NYC. They work with community-based organizations and prioritize teaching Black kids about life skills, like finance and how to invest at an early age. They also supply mentors from Wall Street and the business community, as well as scholarships, for their students.
Sending a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at the William Julius Wilson Institute and the Harlem Children’s Zone as a whole for all that you are doing for inner city kids who dream of being successful. The staff members and educators are directly responsible for helping make their dreams reality.

#SponsoredByGSK Amazing day yesterday with @sideline_rsv and the Crenshaw YMCA! #RSVAwarenessMonth is the perfect time to spread the message about the potential for severe RSV for older adults. We elevated this conversation, from NYC to LA, and it was fun getting in the community to talk about this important health topic.
If you’re 60 and over, talk to your doctor or pharmacist about the risks of RSV and how to protect yourself. Visit www.SidelineRSV.com for more.
