I can’t believe it’s been fifteen years since Captain Sully Sullenberger landed a plane on the Hudson River. ✈️ This was one of the most riveting and inspiring (and most competitive!) interviews I’ve ever done. @captsully is an American hero—and on January 15, 2009, it was just what the country needed. Rewatching this, you can see that Sully is one cool customer. Getting to know him has been one of the highlights of my career. Thank you Sully, co-pilot Jeff Skiles and the entire flight crew for your grace under pressure and for saving the lives of all 155 passengers on board. It truly was a miracle on the Hudson. ❤️ PS I love this quote by Sully so much: “For 42 years I’ve been making small, regular deposits in this bank of experience. And on January 15th, the balance was sufficient so that I could make a sudden, large withdrawal.” You’re telling me! 🌟

🚨 Former president Donald Trump beat his two closest rivals for the Republican nomination in the first balloting of 2024, the Associated Press reported.
Per @washingtonpost, Monday night’s caucuses across Iowa kicked off the Republican presidential nominating process, as voters finally weighed in after months of campaigning. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy made late-hour appeals before caucuses convened at 7 p.m. Central.
Now, the Republican calendar will turn to New Hampshire, where polling shows Mr. Trump is expected to face a strong challenge from Ms. Haley in a state where independent voters can also cast ballots. The Nevada GOP will hold caucuses on Feb. 8, followed by South Carolina’s primary on Feb. 24.
