Kenneth Mitchell left this earth yesterday. I can’t imagine a more excruciating sentence then being diagnosed with ALS when you have two children and an incredibly devoted wife whom you’re madly in love with and entering the prime of your life. You are kind and gentle, you’ve been a good man with long standing friendships and raised with a strong work ethic. You are creative and grateful to be secure in a business that you have worked so hard to integrate into. I can’t imagine the journey Kenneth, Susan and the kids had to endure. But what I know to be true is that they kept going, kept seeking cures, hope, love and laughter. Holidays in costume and beach days filled with salty ocean air and memories lasting lifetimes. Steadfast in life and the gift of time until there was no more time here to give. I see these photos of us all working together before life took a turn, for all of us in unexpected ways. A reminder of how precious each moment is. Kenneth was a brave warrior of men. The last message I received from him was to secure a good doctor for his daughter. (I might know a great one:) I have a feeling that Kenneth gave it absolutely every ounce of life he could squeeze out and and now in heaven will be the greatest angel to all that so desperately still need his guidance. I pray tonight for God to move mountains find a cure ALS. I pray for your sweet family and your loving friends who weep tonight. I pray for comfort and your freedom to run, flip and angel yourself into elation. I bet the view is pretty good from up there. This series is called The Aging Procrastinator seen through ring light. The series of self portraits are filtered and blasted with a strong ring light to hide wrinkles and imperfections. After 25 years of dedicated service to the film and television Industry, the artist is asked to “put yourself on tape.” Needing a job to provide healthcare and basic necessities for her family she attempts to put thine self on tape. Except there is NO TAPE, NO READER, NO HOPE only a ring light with a LED silver lining. #art #artist #procrastination #add #actor @sagaftra

Iyla as Ariana Grande this morning. She said she was supposed to dress up as a film character or a her favorite character from a book. She said “I’m definitely going as Ariana Grande she was in Sam and Cat… it’s a show and it should have been a film.” Iyla says very convincingly. We are in the middle of a move, this morning came to quickly for my tired body. Not to mention Iyla disclosed this spirit weeks task 25 min before exit ville. So we went with it. I chose not to share the nasty nasty BS I’m learning associated with the network that produced the show and i believe responsible for launching AG’a career. She is such a talented young woman. I have like most of you all followed this story. It makes me sick to my stomach and infuriates me striking too many personal chords. So many stories of young Hollywood just are left unspoken. It breaks my heart beyond words… but today, this morning…. It was all about the admiration and fascination my 8 year old has for Ariana. I loved that. Simply, for today Iyla is unaware of the story. And that was the gift. Clearly won’t be hashtagging any if them. 👎
