Every Father’s Day is difficult now. For those of us who are fatherless: for those of us who never knew our fathers, whose fathers have died, whose fathers are estranged I am thinking of you. My dad,Alan, died in 2013. I loved him and he loved me. I was certain in his love. He was brilliant, funny, sporty with an encyclopaedic knowledge. I can’t hear Leonard Cohen without thinking of him. He used to play an extraordinary mix of music in the car, when we travelled to Antibes for our holidays. I thought it was because it was his taste, but no he was playing music for us. So to all the dead dads I salute you. ♥️❤️♥️
Well – a new puppy in our lives! This is Beanie(possibly) my godson and his mum @nicki_lt new puppy! Button hadn’t met her yet, but I’m hoping they will be best buddies. It’s love. ♥️

It’s 7 years ago. A Tory council giving money back to the richest Council Tax payers, meanwhile this happened. So many complaints were made to the TMO of Kensington and Chelsea, warning them about fire safety etc etc. We will be joining the silent walk. 💚

Please watch this short film from @trusselltrust about the UK reliance on support from food banks. The government should be doing more for people in need. Not bailing out banks. Not allowing water companies to pollute our waterways. At the next election vote to help everyone.
Voting Nearly half of all young people aged 18-34 don’t vote. That is 6 million people. 4 million aren’t registered to vote. If they don’t register, they can’t vote and won’t have a say in their future. The things they care about won’t matter to politicians, whether it’s gender or racial justice, safety online or on the streets, climate change or affordable housing. And this year, new voter ID laws will make it harder for first-time voters to participate – especially trans and non binary people, Black and people of colour, people with disabilities, those from poorer backgrounds and the unemployed.
