#gymrat Still chasing those gains… Lucky for me I’m taking an Exercise Physiology class this semester. Good news is, I get a grade for following the class workout program which entails 4 days a week in the gym and doing what I love and would be doing anyway! But the bad news is, I gotta hold off on following that other program I originally had planned! It’s grind time #tiffersarmy 2 weeks left in our 12 week challenge. For some reason, things always seem hardest when you’re almost to the finish line. But I believe in us! We got this! During times like these it’s always important to remember your WHY…Why is fitness important to you? Everyone’s why is unique to them. For me, over the last few years, I’ve had a few health scares, and fitness has given me a way to feel empowered again. Wrapping up my final week of this workout before embarking on a new program! Excited to dive into the Maps Anabolic program by @mindpumpmedia. As the holiday season approaches, my main goal is to build strength and muscle. I’ll be gradually increasing my calorie intake while maintaining my weight through reverse dieting, reducing cardio, and pushing myself to lift heavier than ever for those gains. Happy Cutting Season It’s been a minute since I’ve posted! But I’m still at it! Spent the last 6 months successfully reverse dieting and lifting heavy as hell! Completed the @mindpumpmedia anabolic program and I got great results. Was able to get my calories up to 2900 cals a day and only put on 2lbs of weight. Now after maintaining for the last few weeks it’s time to cut again and see how much muscle I put on! A lot of people think you have to dirty bulk or excessively bulk to put on muscle, but studies show that a slight increase in cals is all you need! Now that I’ve got my cals up super high and metabolism revving super high, it’ll be much easier to cut from this higher amount! Loving the Reverse Dieting process and how it facilitates my goals!
