This frosting moment of zen brought to you #bakeclub oatmeal cream pie cookies – live at christinatosi.com
Last night’s #DinnerTimeLive was the SWEETEST episode EVER thanks to a special visit from @milkbarstore’s @christinatosi who prepared an amazing variety of desserts for @davidchang and our official sweetest guest ever @dulcesloan! Christina started by celebrating Dulcé’s birthday month with a Dulce de Leche Layer Cake (assembled with some help from David & Chris before the show). Dulcé & David enjoyed some Korean inspired subak soju (blended watermelon mixed with soju) while they waited for the next course of a “Cuppa Creamsicle” (inspired by the Dominican drink “Morir Soñando”). Christina’s picture perfect Skillet Cookie was served with @strangerthings.things Scoops Ahoy ice-cream! The Intermezzo brought a bit of savory to the evening and some healthy competition to the kitchen as David & Christina dueled to see who could make a better Grilled Pimento Cheese Sandwich! Christina used her pepperoni bread and David served his on plain bread with an impromptu pepper soup dish (and a bonus “—ito Pie!”.) To finish the incredible dinner service, Christina served her favorite late night snack, the Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Pie that is worthy of any late night, early night, all day snacking tbh. Watch & rewatch the FULL #DessertForDinner episode RIGHT NOW on @netflix! (LINK IN BIO)

Recipe is here and on christinatosi.com – let’s GO
Makes about 4 cups
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon oregano or basil
1 teaspoon garlic powderc
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon salt
2 cups cereal (think: Cornflakes, Honeycombs, Chex, etc)
2 cups salty snacks (think: Fritos, pretzels, crackers, etc)
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
pepperoni pizza slices, red pepper flakes, ranch mix, etc. if you want to take it further
Heat the oven to 250F and grease or line a baking sheet.
In a small bowl, melt the butter. Whisk in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, oregano, garlic, onion and salt. Pour into a large bowl and toss with the cereal until well coated. Spread this mixture across the baking sheet and bake for 50 minutes, tossing every 10 minutes to ensure an even toasting. At 50 minutes, sprinkle parmesan cheese atop mixture and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Cool mixture completely on baking sheet before transferring to one or several bowls or baggies to snack on!

My idea of a great night? Cranking up the tunes, raiding #MyColor fridge, and making a big, joyful mess in the kitchen with new and old baking friends. I worked with @lgusa to bring the kitchen 💪 while we baked up some cookies from Bake Club the cookbook
