Jane Goodall Instagram – 🤩 The 2024 #RSYCSummit was so inspiring! 💫
With 16 new members added to this year’s council, our week with @tetonscience was the perfect opportunity for new and returning members to create their community! Here are just a handful of highlights from the week:
🌟 Presenting on their impactful projects in their own communities, lessons learned, and the impact of Roots & Shoots on their lives
🤝 Participating in fun team-building activities on TSS’s challenge course, completing the courses through cooperation within their teams
🌳 Exploring Grand Teton National Park with Teton Science Schools (TSS) instructors Abby, Naomi, Kayla, and Mary Grace, and learning about the unique plant communities there
🏔️ Removing invasive musk thistle and hound’s tongue plants with TSS’s partner volunteer Meta and weighing the flowers to track their contribution to her ongoing project
🗺️ Joining in on conference-style discussions and trainings to continue their professional development, including a community mapping exercise
