Update 🫶 I spent about 7 years in my 20’s not drinking and about a month ago I made the decision to start another sober season to try get my mental and physical health in a better place. ❤️ When I get busy, the wheels really fall off in terms of my self care (food, exercise, mental health, general energy levels) I had been reverting to medicating with sugar (a lot) , not working out, irregular periods and only sleeping a few hours a night and having a wine most days as a treat and to bookend the day. 🥂 This past month I’ve been trying to do a little better by injecting a few positive and healthy habits in to my life and just wanted to share them incase anyone might find it helpful 🫶 @bensondetox – they have such an epic community and group thread to keep you accountable 🧡 thanks @libbyjeanchallis for doing it with me and @cleanmealsnz for making dinner easy! @trainingmate – if you are in America and @champsfitnessnz if you are in Auckland – I’m not much of a gym junkie, working out has to be fun and have epic people at it that make you feel welcomed and included. And follow @pilatesbyanjula page for Pilates inspiration 🧡 Morning pages – something I started doing thanks to The Artists Way (a great read/ program for any creatives) @thebeautychef_nz gut health products I’ve been making a smoothie everyday for the last almost 60 days and noticed a massive decrease in bloating thanks to @niki._loe for the recommendation. Getting up early – win the morning win the day! Here’s to a healthy end of 2024 physically and mentally ⭐️
