Yes, A Rebellious Life with me is still rebelling. Part of that is knowing when you need to tap out for a bit. And then knowing when to get back up. Well, Gus knew- he dragged me to the beach letting me know that playing stick was the answer to the world’s problems. So I agreed. He was right- well almost. Nature is NEVER a bad idea. Get outside, look at the sun, the stars, the trees and of course your fur babies and see the absolute perfection in them- and have that push you through the day. @a_rebellious_life soon to be a substack space for community, creativity, mental breakdowns, breakthroughs and much more. “You must accept the present as though you chose it” Eckhart Tolle says from his book The Power of Now. This is one of the lessons we are talking and writing about in my book club meets writing group. It’s an amazing group and a potent time to have to digest this lesson. It makes you absolutely surrender to the now and appreciate all that is there. I will say it’s the hardest thing to do but when you surrender it’s the biggest act of REBELLION one can do. No one can touch your happiness unless you allow it- so when you say- “okay I surrender- AND- yup I’m still here” A Rebellious Life – you only got one.
