10 years ago, I interviewed Pakkun, Patrick Harlan a graduate of Harvard and Japan celebrity at the 2013 US Colleges & University convention in Tokyo. I am wearing my Ohio State Buckeyes and helping the embassy and organization. 2.5 Kg MONSTER GYOZA 🥟 is Tokyo’s Greatest Food Challenge (next photo) and @katinaeatskilos challenged it today! Randy ate it in less than 15 minutes in 2018! Me? … 65% complete in 1 hour in 2015. Can Katina do it? She’s made an exciting episode coming soon and I was happy to be along for the ride today. Takehana-san has been doing good challenges at his restaurant for over 50 years, one of the oldest food challenges in Japan. They also have mortal sized food which is also quite good 🍜 🍚 🥟 😋

Our Hokkaido Motorcycle & Japanese RV Camper Adventure is coming to YouTube! It was quite a trip, circled the north island for 10 days — I even got stopped by a cop and fell down a few times, unfortunately (or fortunately) all caught on 360° cameras 😳— my FIRST motorcycle ride on public roads and perhaps my last — a big thank you to the backers on Kickstarter who are credited at the end. The Doco was released several months ago to supporters but we wanted to expand our reach to more people for more adventures *like* this in the future where we learn about Japan, culture-history-food-people-geography-wildlife-speed limits on country roads 🏍️💨 🚓💨 I’m still editing it a bit but looks for it soon ٩(^‿^)۶ @peter_von_gomm co-producer & speed racer 🤦🏻♂️
Seismologist at Tokyo University Sakai-sensei taught me about how a large EARTHQUAKE would impact Tokyo – it was fascinating and SCARY. Tokyo is not the best place for a city.
