Today, I announced my retirement and resignation as HUD Secretary effective March 22, 2024. I thank @potus for his confidence and trust in me to lead HUD in alignment with the Biden-Harris Administration’s priorities. As I transition to life as a private citizen, I will continue to do the work that I have been called to do.

By reducing barriers to federally insured mortgages, we have helped nearly 1.5 million people buy their first home since the start of the Biden-Harris Administration.
