Fearne Cotton Instagram – Felt like an old lizard this morning after a week of the lurgy. @justinejenkins AKA the best make up person out there, worked her magic on me today and got me from crispy old cow to camera ready. 📷
I love make up fullstop.
Fearne Cotton Instagram – Baby Frank is needy (and I love it). He always wants a cuddle and attention. He often taps me to get me to stroke him as you’ll see here. Then just as he has my attention he decides to lick his arse. 😐
Fearne Cotton Instagram – A special 24 hours in Cornwall with @mrsgifletcher visiting our dear mate @howtoglitteraturd
A huge thanks to the @theheadlandcornwall for having us and making us feel so at home.
Last nights sunset was bloody magical. Deep feelings of gratitude for the people in my life today. There are some bloody good eggs out there and I think sometimes in the noise of life we forget how much goodwill and love there is.
If you’re feeling a bit down in the dumps today remember there are people out there that love you and are cheering you on from the sidelines. You don’t need a huge gaggle of people to be cheering you, just one or two properly in your corner. Today I’m grateful for all those good eggs in my life.
I also remember someone I know (but won’t mention) making a snarky comment about earnest/thoughtful posts under photos of sunsets and how they couldn’t stand it. Well this ones for you. 🤣
If a golden sunset doesn’t move you and get you thinking big, then that’s tough tits for you. I loved every glorious second.
Love and good vibes to you all this Easter weekend. 🐣
Ps if sunsets arent your thing, scroll along to meet my new mate.

Fearne Cotton Instagram – Pet update. 🐾
After we adopted baby Frank many of you reached out to ask me about integrating a new cat when you’ve already got one. Simon was initially a bit pissed off but now they sleep next to each other and play fight all day. They’re really cute little pals.
George the 55 year old tortoise we adopted last summer just came out of hibernation so has been thawing out in the house and getting his appetite back. 🐢
We are way out numbered by kids and animals here and I’m usually the last to eat out of all of them, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I would have 100 cats if I could. If you are looking to adopt a cat or dog I would urge you to visit the @themayhew 🐈 🐕
Three of my rescue cats have come from there and they have so many pets looking for a home at the moment.
❤️

Fearne Cotton Instagram – Yesterday was a peach. We got to visit my pal @jonathanyeo studio and pick up my painting.
During one of the lockdowns Jonny painted a few friends over video call and filmed the sittings so we could see his process.
I’ve been a nerdy, mega fan of Jonny’s work for many years and am hugely inspired by the way he uses colour and by his versitle technique.
I’m also obsessed with the parts of Jonny’s paintings that he leaves undone. My translation of those areas of canvas are a nod to the parts of the sitter we don’t know. The parts of the person that they themselves are still discovering.
Yesterday we were all wide eyed taking in so many incredible pieces in his studio. A memorable afternoon and one that has kicked me up the bum to get my brushes out soon. I’ve painted and loved art from a young age and it remains one of the best ways for me to calm my racing mind and feel totally euphoric throughout.
It was a honour to be painted by Jonny and I will treasure this piece for ever.

Fearne Cotton Instagram – I have had so many people reaching out to me about this weeks episode of @happyplaceofficial with @katesilverton
Kates book Theres Still No Such Thing As Naighty is a game changer and we cover many of the topics from it in this chat.
Screens is a big one. Its an emotive subject as many of us have fallen into the trap, feel guilt and worry etc… but Kate approaches this topic with care, understanding and scientific backing. She is simply amazing.
If you haven’t listened yet, get it wherever you get your podcasts or watch the full chat on YouTube. X
Fearne Cotton Instagram – God daughter hugs.
Pizza in the garden in the sunshine and hugs with @bizzlebrowizzle @mrmaxbrown and my dreamboat god daughter Cleo and her siblings Lyla and Raff.
I only got a hug because I got her a mini pop up ice cream van tent. But I’ll take it.

Fearne Cotton Instagram – Perfection has taken on a life of its own in recent years. Dawn French worries that the pursuit of perfection is stopping us from being who we are, and from making mistakes we can grow from.
In this chat, Fearne and @dawnrfrench explore why when we have low tolerance for others making mistakes, we’re likely judging ourselves for our mistakes too. So, in order to have more self-compassion, we have to talk about the cringey times we’ve held inside for fear for being shamed.
They also discuss the best ways to apologise when we’re in the wrong, and to allow space for robust debate that might just change our minds. Plus, why it’s so important to be able to say “I don’t know”. Available to listen now wherever you get your podcasts or link in bio to watch the full episode on YouTube 🙌
Dawn’s book, The Twat Files, is out now.
Fearne Cotton Instagram – Did you learn to regulate your emotions as a child? Broadcaster turned child therapist @KateSilverton says our ability to regulate our emotions has been found to be the best indicator of future happiness.
In this chat with Fearne, Kate definitively explains why it’s never too late to change your relationship with your kids regardless of how much you think you’ve already messed up.
Kate talks through why it’s not about changing our children, it’s about changing their environment. Similarly, it’s not that you’re bad at parenting, it’s that you’re being expected to parent while under often more stress and with less community support.
Fearne and Kate also chat about why all of these conversations are relevant even if you’re not a parent, because all these things – soothing anxiety, acknowledging emotions, cultivating resilience – also relate to our relationships with our own parents, and ourselves…
Plus, Kate gives her take on how best to help children with neurodiversity, and how screens are really affecting our brains. Available to watch now wherever you get your podcasts or watch on YouTube 🫶
Kate’s book, There’s Still No Such Thing As Naughty, is out on the March 28th.
Fearne Cotton Instagram – I’m BUZZING to share the cover of my first fiction book #Scripted coming out this June. 📖
Writing this book has made my heart sing and I can’t wait for it to be out in the world and introduce you all to Jade Shaw.
In the book, Jade has lost control of her life. Pushed around by her family, and taken for granted by a boyfriend who’s more interested in his “brand” than their relationship, she knows that somewhere along the path to being an adult she’s lost her way. And she can’t seem to find it again.
The last place she expects to discover answers is on the floor outside her flat. But there it is: a script. Containing her name, and her boyfriend Adam’s – and depicting another argument in which Jade fails to stand up for herself. The weird thing is: this argument hasn’t happened yet.
The row becomes reality. Jade tries and fails to find her voice. Then more scripts appear, predicting infuriating scenarios in which Jade’s boss, mum, and bridezilla sister walk all over her.
How are they able to predict her future so accurately? And where the hell are they coming from?
And what can Jade do to re-write the script?
Signed copies are now available to pre-order at Waterstones in the link in my bio. 😀
Fearne Cotton Instagram – A very random dumparooo

Fearne Cotton Instagram – Who is ready for tomorrows episode of @happyplaceofficial the podcast?
It is always a joy and a pleasure to spend time with @dawnrfrench whatever the occasion.
We chatted in depth in about making mistakes, being a bit of a twat, cocking up and picking yourself back up, eradicating shame, apologising and so much more. It was hilarious, deep and utterly relieving. I know you’ll feel lighter after listening to it.
Get ready…..it goes live tomorrow.

Fearne Cotton Instagram – A disciplined lifestyle isn’t restrictive, it’s freeing. That’s how dietician and plant-based cook @radhidevlukia feels about the habits, boundaries, and guidelines she’s implemented. They allow her to be in control, rather than outside factors controlling how she lives.
In this chat with Fearne, Radhi explains why committing to something – and following through – increases self-worth as it proves you can trust yourself. Trusting your instincts is something she wants you to be doing more of when it comes to nourishing food in particular. They chat through some practical ways to transition into eating more plant-based food, especially by using spices that invigorate and give you energy.
Plus, why is it important to check your own mental health when you realise you’re gossiping about other people…? Watch now on YouTube or listen wherever you get your podcasts 🫶
Radhi’s recipe book, JoyFull, is out now.
Fearne Cotton Instagram – Day 43546478 of the easter holidays and we are baking cookies. Honey designed these little (icing heavy) stars.
Delish. 😋
Fearne Cotton Instagram – My debut novel is out this June. I’ve lived and breathed this story and the characters for the last few years and have felt such joy diving into the world of Scripted. I can only hope you feel the same if you choose to read it.
This is Jade Shaw’s story.
But the more she reads the less she knows herself.
She is faced with a choice:
Stick to the script, or finally lose the plot?
It’s out of character.
It’s scary.
It’s bloody marvellous…
