Mood today is meh. Even though it’s Friday, lots of niggly problems to solve. That said I am grateful for so many things. For the health and happiness of my two kids, the existence of the dog, the love and support of my friends on here and in real life and of my family; because the jasmine flowers have bloomed again in our back yard and scent of them every time we leave the house makes it almost impossible to feel down and.. well yeah because it’s Friday so I don’t have to set the alarm tomorrow! Why would anyone do this? More importantly WHO would do this? And why? These are emails sent to my convention agent just in the last hour. What would push a person to smear another person’s name to hopefully prevent them getting paid work? Note: these are the same trolls from the Tattle website who have been sending me DMs along the lines of ‘get a job you grifter’. I am a single parent. I do not have child care and I have two children to support. I need every penny I can earn. I also love my fans and these conventions are a joy to me where I get to meet them. Please don’t do this. Please don’t try to take this away from me out of spite. Again, I just want peace. Let me and my girls get on with our lives. Please. ✌️🙏🏻

Somebody just sent me this about 15 mins ago exactly at the time I needed it. Wanted to share with anybody else who needs it today. I don’t want to post these. But how far should I let it go? A woman, with a link to me posted on insta a month ago that ‘thousands of people’ had contacted her to say I had ‘ abused’ them. ( She didn’t define ‘abuse’ of course, and weirdly, over 30 years, none of them went to the police or even spoke up!) This sets off hundreds of angry women on the abuse-site Tattle, repeating these nonsensical theories and adding their own angry and frustrated thoughts to create a narrative that is 100% false. I’m fed up. I am a single mother who has my kids 100% of the time. I need to earn money to support them. Some of these angry women have even gone as far as to contact my future employers and beg them to drop me. If they drop me it’s not just me who will suffer, it’s my incredible kids too. I have never abused anybody. I am one of the kindest people you could meet ( many will attest to that) I will deal with the legal side of the unending trolling and lying about me when I have more money my life is back on track. But please – if I have ‘abused’ you in anyway, while we are working together or maybe as friends or even online…? Please tell me what happened. Now is your time to explain to my face exactly why you are so angry with me and why you contacted my ex-husband’s girlfriend instead of going to the police. I like to post positive and funny stuff but you know? When shitheads like this write egregious and vicious nonsense like this about two young girls? I think it’s better out there. Dear Edison, @sce Thanks for this. A few questions however: Why do you have no customer service humans available to speak to? Spent all morning trying to communicate with your robots and am repeatedly told they don’t recognize my account number ‘because we changed all our account numbers in April to shorter numbers which all start with an 8’. Yet this disconnection notice sent to me yesterday ( July) clearly shows an account number starting with a 7. Therefore even the website your bots keep sending me to is useless because my account number is not recognized. ( And no, adding an 8 at the front of this number doesn’t work either) So I can’t even pay a minimum to avoid disconnection, I can’t talk to a human, the bots are insane and keep repeating themselves ( my fave bit is when they give up and say ‘thank you, goodbye!’ 😂) and it’s literally impossible to contact you. I live with my two children, 10 and 14 for whom I bear sole responsibility. You are disconnecting our service on Monday, which means we lose access to lighting, air conditioning, internet, phone charging, ( we have no landline) refrigeration, water heating and all the other life-dependent services that as of course you know, electricity provides. Your CEO Steven D Powell reportedly receives over $3 million a year in pay and bonuses. My monthly bill is usually over $400, despite the fact that me and my children are as judicious as we could possibly be with our usage. I checked with neighbors and their bills are similar, so it’s really not like we don’t pay you enough for the service you provide. ( But since SCE is monopoly in my neighborhood I’m sure you are aware of that😊) So why can’t I speak to a real person? What do we do on Monday when we lose service? Genuinely asking. I checked Reddit and other forum social networks and I’m definitely not the only one with this problem. I’m asking you via social media because a) it’s my last resort and b) my reach may be wider than others in the same situation and hopefully this may help them too.
