For a long time, I’ve been scared to step into my divine feminine energy. Afraid to be anything but the Chef, Hard Working Single Parent, and Gettur Done kinda person. This past year after a hysterectomy, empty nesting, and a load of personal problems, the universe gifted me time to sit with my feelings and cry. Cry so much. Process. Grieve. And yes deal with depression. Along the way friends have picked me up, called me out, and carried me thru moments I may never share. And while I’m constantly working to process all that my body, heart, and mind have gone thru, I have to remember that at the end of it all. I’m just Claudia. A woman, and flawed individual doing her best to come out on the other side. Working on yourself is hard, but acting tough all the time gets you nowhere. So cheers to embracing your feminine. Cheers to loving yourself unconditionally, even when your own mind and voice are the loudest hater.

2023 was a HUGE transition year for us. From Moving from San Diego to Mexico, to Yani leaving for University, and the many life changing personal and professional transitions we faced this year. As we look back on 2023, we recognize the profound changes to our lives, those who stood by us, with us, and embraced us. And those we lost along the way. We only look back only to appreciate how far we have come, and to be self-aware enough to grow from the trials. 2024 we are ready for you! We wish you all so much love, blessings, and success. We’re having an amazing Culinary Week! 🎉 👩🍳 We kicked things off the late morning with the Divino Cacao Hands-On Cooking Class with Executive Chef Reyna Venegas, who introduced us to the divine world of Mexican cacao and gave guests a tour of our farm and its healing properties! 🍫✨ Next, we joined Master Chef Claudia Sandoval for a hands-on class where we created delicious, sustainable seafood and veggie dishes inspired by our Tres Estrellas Organic Garden and complimented by a glass of Pluma from Vinos Lechuza. 🌱🐟 Finally, Top Chef Claudette Zepeda in the Dining Hall treated us to a magical Mexican-inspired plant-based dinner, including a vegetarian Korean-inspired Bao! 🌮🥗 Huge thanks to everyone who joined us on this culinary adventure! Let’s just say @yani.xia and I are spoiled by @monsieurwink cause he made us a Nectarine, Ricotta, Arugula, @mikeshothoney, Grana Padano, Spicy Salame pizza! 🔥🔥🔥Let’s just say… you gotta find where he is popping up next! Try all the pies! Oh and the Casa Prado Deluxe Burger was OFF the Chain!!! 🤤🤤🤐 It was the crispy hash browns on top of the SmashBurger that did it for me… #texturequeen
