Good luck everyone running the world champs in @wmtrc2025_canfrancpirineos ! It looks amazing and I truly wish I had been in shape to toe the startline. It has been an honour to run with team 🇸🇪 and a goal is to wear those colours another time. Go go go!

It’s finally here ❤️ Ever since I was a child, the winter season have been my favourite. It’s cold, dark and can be pretty shitty weather up here, so I’m not sure why I love it so much 😆 Maybe it’s the fact that we need to grab those moments of daylight/weather windows, or the feeling when you brave the weather and you enjoy the feeling afterwards getting inside the warm house. Or the perfect snow skiing down a mountain, or the feeling of going fast on x country skis. But mostly, I think it’s the way snow softens the landscape, reminding us to slow down. Not to stop moving, but to reflect, to breathe, and to trust that this season of darkness is something we need—so that when the light returns, we rise with it, a little stronger, just like nature does.
The classical road Trollstigen, 10 km, 800 m ⬆️ For sure I love grinding this one out myself 🤢 but it aint bad with company either 🥰 Thanks @thule for making the greatest running strollers, here’s the Glide 3! I love to have little Lo with me on some trainings. #bringyourlife @familylifebythule 🎥 @smamaj

Starting from where you are. After time away from competition and structured training, Emelie Forsberg is returning to the mountains with a renewed sense of purpose—not chasing numbers, but reconnecting with the feeling that started it all. From her home in Romsdalen, she reflects on rebuilding slowly, letting go of comparisons, and the quiet strength that comes from simply being out there, one step at a time. “When I manage to let go of expectations, like comparing myself to how I felt before pregnancy or looking at pace or times, I can truly enjoy just being out there again, moving through the mountains and trails. That feeling is so important to protect, because it’s how it all started for me. I love being out there, and I want to take care of that love. Adding structured training again is fun and interesting, especially from the perspective of evolving as an athlete. But the base—the joy of movement in nature—has to come first.” 📸 @matti_bernitz #endurance

How much I love getting back to running ❤️. Finally my iron levels start to be close to my baseline and I have been able to train again! Many weeks of just moving very slow in the mountains, and tbh I’m still moving very slow on most sessions so I can recover. 1 longer run and 1 interval ( easy, still zone 3, slightly touching 4 ) per week have been great additions. And changing more often to my 👟 @nnormal_official Kjerag rather than Tomir wich I prefer to use on my more mountain slow days have been a boost ⚡️ 📸 @smamaj
