In the face of unthinkable tragedy, silence is not an option. The Hostages & Missing Persons Family Forum Headquarters and the Creative Community For Peace collaborate to shed light on the horrors endured by women and girls during the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel on October 7th.
This powerful video, grounded in the testimonies of survivors and corroborated by The New York Times and The Telegraph investigations, reveals unspeakable atrocities. From brutal assaults to unimaginable acts of violence, it’s a stark reminder of the inhumane torture that occurred.
We refuse to turn a blind eye. We refuse to let their voices go unheard.
Stand with us in demanding justice and advocating for the release of those still held captive. Let’s raise our voices to bring them home.

With a heart filled with gratitude and a mind filled with memories, I let the @meta board know that I will not stand for reelection this May. After I left my role as COO, I remained on the board to help ensure a successful transition. Under Mark’s leadership, Javi Olivan, Justin Osofsky, Nicola Mendelsohn, and their teams have proven beyond a doubt that the Meta business is strong and well-positioned for the future, so this feels like the right time to step away. Going forward, I will serve as an advisor to the company, and I will always be there to help the Meta teams.
Serving as Facebook’s – and then Meta’s – COO for 14 ½ years and a board member for 12 years has been the opportunity of a lifetime. I will always be grateful to Mark for believing in me and for his partnership and friendship; he is that truly once-in-a-generation visionary leader and he is equally amazing as a friend who stays by your side through the good times and the bad. I will always be grateful to my colleagues and teammates at Meta for all the years of working side by side and all they taught me. And I am particularly grateful to my fellow Meta board members for their lasting friendships, the guidance they provided me for so many years, and their stewardship of products that mean so much to people all over the world.

Had the best time with my daughter and friends at @oliviarodrigo’s concert last night!
Not only is Olivia a phenomenal artist, but she’s a powerful voice in the fight for abortion rights. Standing up for what you believe in takes Guts, and her Fund 4 Good will help women access reproductive health care.
This piece is definitive and heartbreaking. No one can deny the sexual violence of Oct 7 and humanity demands that we all stand together against terrorists and terrorism.
Thank you to @gettlemanjeffrey, @anatschwartz and Adam Sella for relentless dedication, meticulous journalism, and for bringing the truth to light.
#unitedagainstrape
As we head into the new year, I’m praying for peace.
Hamas must be held fully accountable for the horrific crimes they committed on Oct. 7.
Sexual violence is torture. It’s terror. And it has no place in peace or in war. #unitedagainstrape
A heartwrenching report from Jake Tapper. Raz, thank you for your courage to speak up and bear witness to the horrific atrocities you saw. Jake, thank you for your meticulous reporting and dedication to truth.
The world must listen. #UnitedAgainstRape
Awesome to be back together with great friends and people who loved my late husband Dave so much. We laughed about good times and cried because we all miss Dave’s wisdom and his sense of humor. He would have loved this podcast — and he would have made fun of Chamath endlessly as @thefakechamath on X. Yep, it was Dave the whole time.
We also came together to talk about @screamsbeforesilence and the sexual violence that occurred in Israel on October 7th. We spoke about the undeniable evidence of Hamas’ crimes against women, the alarming rise in antisemitism, and how we can ensure the voices of victims and survivors are heard.
Thank you Chamath, @jason, and David for having me on the pod. I hope everyone listens.
Great night with the senior women of @meta. These incredible women are leaders in every part of our product and business – some I hired many years ago right out of school, some who grew up and got promoted at our company, and some who just joined.
Thank you to Lori Goler (@lgoler) and this amazing group of women for showing us all – and showing me – what leadership can be.

I’m honored to support Dr. @cochavelkayam and the Civil Commission on October 7 Crimes by Hamas Against Women and Children. The commission has been tirelessly collecting evidence of the horrific sexual violence Hamas committed — giving voice to the victims and survivors.
This work is critical in ensuring Hamas is held accountable and making it clear: Rape should never be used as a weapon in war or peace.
It was an honor to join the @cfr_org and moderate a panel on addressing conflict-related sexual violence. I shared the stage with three phenomenal human rights experts: Dr. Phoebe Donnelly, Madeleine Rees and Rachel Vogelstein — who have dedicated their lives to ending sexual violence wherever it occurs.
Together, we discussed the gender-based violence happening around the world as well as the systems we have — and need — to hold perpetrators accountable. We examined ways to prevent women from being seen as collateral damage during conflict. And we talked about the politicization of sexual violence since Hamas’ horrific attack in Israel.
Rape is never acceptable. This fact must hold true for all conflicts or else we stand to lose too much. That’s why conversations like we had today deeply matter. We need to remain vigilant to ensure justice for victims and survivors.

Today, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King was relentless in his pursuit of justice, equality, and peace for all people of every race, religion, and nationality. He called on us to confront hatred and ignorance, giving way to tolerance and love. And he taught us to reach across barriers of understanding — especially when it is hard.
Dr. King believed that our words and actions have the power to shape a better future. In all we say and do, we should strive to live up to his example.
Huge congratulations to the crew of Massachusetts! Our ship has received the @usnavy Battle Effectiveness Award for 2023, which recognizes the highest level of naval readiness. Out of 81 submarine crews in the US fleet, just 14 win the award each year — and it’s extremely rare for a ship still in construction to earn it.
This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication that the sailors, led by the incredible Commander Michael Siedsma (@swimbikerunsubmerge), display every single day. I’m forever inspired by their courage and sacrifice. It’s the honor of a lifetime to serve as sponsor.
Wishing a happy Kwanzaa to all those who celebrate!
The seven days of Kwanzaa celebrate the seven principles of unity, self-determination, collective responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith.
May these values serve as a guiding light for all of us in the new year.
One of my favorite parts of attending #BayFC games is seeing young girls cheer our team on. @wearebayfc players are role models to so many. It’s inspiring to hear who their heroes are and how they helped shape their lives – as women and as athletes. #LeanInGirlsxBayFC #BLegendary #BayFC
For many of us, the start of the year is an exciting time of reflection and renewal. For some of us, it is also a time of resolutions. However you approach the turn of the calendar year, it’s worth taking a moment to think about your goals for the year — and who can help you achieve them. We all need people who encourage us, believe in us, and cheer us on. That’s what @leaninorg Circles are all about.
Lean In Circles are small groups of people who come together to share advice, celebrate each other’s wins, and provide the extra push we sometimes need. To date, more than 86,000 women have started Circles in 183 countries. In 2023, we had our highest Circle’s growth ever: 13,000 women started Circles.
Now with our new leadership program, the #WomenAtWorkCollection, Circle members can learn research-backed strategies to advance their careers and support one another along the way. The curriculum includes 18 videos and discussion guides that cover everything from finding a career sponsor to developing leadership superpowers. In many ways, this collection is the very best of Lean In – everything we’ve learned and think women should know from the past 10 years of research and our brain trust of experts.
Whatever your goals are, I hope you start a Circle today and use our #WomenAtWorkCollection to find the support you need to go after your dreams in 2024. Learn more at: http://leanin.org/circles.
