From my perspective.. knowing that bombs will still be falling on Gaza until Sunday, I have to say CEASEFIRE sounds great, but we have to hold caution before celebrating. Dear Friends, In all honesty, I’ve had little faith in the ‘ceasefire’ agreement since it was announced. Saturday will be a day of dread, as there is every chance that the carnage will re – commence.. it actually never ‘really’ stopped. Nevertheless I think it’s important for those who, like me, find this entire situation to be morally- ethically and legally reprehensible – even signing a petition is meaningful and significant. I am dreading what lies ahead. @warchilduk has started a petition over on their site asking UK prime minister Keir Starmer to do everything he can to ensure the ceasefire holds for good and I’ve added a link to it in my bio.
