I’ve lived in London, New York, Bali, and Australia – and each place has brought incredible highs and some real lows. Since returning to the UK, I’ve found myself reflecting on what truly makes me feel content. Every time, it came back to the same thing: feeling my best when I’m taking care of myself. When I’m moving my body and nourishing it well, I feel at the top of my game – both mentally and physically. It’s not just one or the other; the combination of the two keeps me feeling my best. When these pieces align, everything else in life seems to follow. If you’re feeling a bit lost right now or chasing that same sense of contentment, start with the basics. Move your body. Nourish yourself. And if you’ve tried before and it hasn’t quite clicked, maybe it’s time for a different approach. If you’re looking for support from someone who understands that life shouldn’t feel restrictive, loves good food, and loves to feel confident in their body, I’d love to help. @cici_onlinecoaching ✨

Comparison is the thief of happiness. When I came to Sydney a year ago, I was a bit shocked. I was surrounded by beautiful people with 8 packs and perfect bodies- It made me feel different about myself. Someone told me, “If you’re a 10 in your hometown, you’re immediately a 6 in Bondi.” It was harsh but made me realise how much pressure there is to look a certain way. My confidence took a hit, and I found myself wanting to cover up, even in the heat. I’ve had to remind myself that my superpower is being me, and comparing myself only leads to unhappiness. I know I say this all the time, but exercise really did help me get through this. Having a consistent gym routine keeps me grounded mentally and physically and gives me confidence. Remember, we see ourselves through a different lens than others do, and the mirror can lie (especially on a hormonal day). Having a regular exercise routine and eating a balanced diet gives you a solid foundation for trusting the work you’re putting in, even on a bad day. Progress isn’t just about what you see but also how you feel and perform. If you are interested in some coaching with me, hit the link in my bio @cici_onlinecoaching
Every interaction I’ve had today has been so lovely and warm. The staff in every place I’ve been to couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you to the lovely lady at @apple this morning thanks @societycafe for the mega Matcha ☕️ To the guys down at @chaiwallabath for that wrap 😍 To the most friendly waitress at @bananatreeuk And for the great lymphatic drainage, Massage with @rebecca_garcia_massagebeauty I have so missed the UK 🥰
When tracking your weight loss journey, relying solely on the scales can be misleading. Factors like flights, hormonal changes, and weight training can cause temporary weight fluctuations, but that doesn’t mean you’re not progressing. This is why you should avoid weighing yourself more than once a week- daily changes won’t truly reflect your results. Instead, use a mix of measurements, emotional check-ins, and lifestyle improvements to track your success. Ask yourself: Is my sleep better? Has my mental health improved? Do I feel stronger and more confident? If the answer is yes, you’ve already won far more than just a number on the scale. I’ve been really struggling with my training recently as I’m still recovering from an injury. It’s difficult to find the balance between pushing hard enough and not overdoing it. This was a bit of my lower body which is the strongest I been able to go# in 6weeks. 🙌🏼 Gluties 🍑….i’ve missed 🥰
