🧧 CHINESE NEW YEAR 🧧 Happy Chinese new year everyone. I experienced my first proper Chinese new year today. Although it isn’t actually tomorrow but my dad is working tomorrow so we moved it a day early. There are so many traditions and every dish means something different. For example there’s one that means the money and the wallet where you put a mixed of chopped up veggies into a lettuce leaf which represents the wallet 🥬. On the actual day there wouldn’t be any meat because you mustn’t kill anything. I’m veggie and most of what we had was veggie anyway but the meat eating men in the family said the meat was incredible. I am not brave when the food isn’t Mediterranean but I loved everything!! HALLOWEEN Albie’s first Halloween that he is excited about. I have zero interest in Halloween but seeing it through his eyes is so lovely. He sat up in his cot before his nap just now talking about Halloween to himself 🥰 We’re going to carve pumpkins 🎃 when he wakes up, pop on his full devil outfit and take him trick or treating with all of his friends in our street. BELATED PANCAKES 🥞 Completely forgot to share this picture that I want to keep on my grid. After Albie’s week of illness we delayed our pancake day and it was worth the wait. • FANCY DATES • I forgot to share these that I made last month. They were my healthy January energy boost. They are filled with natural sugar and also a bit of dark chocolate 👌🏼 I was also able to make these with Albie as he could eat the ingredients as we went along. -go for the poshest and biggest majool dates you can find. INGREDIENTS Majool dates Crunchy peanut butter Dark chocolate Pistachios METHOD Slice your dates open to remove the stone Fill the date with as much peanut butter that you can Melt dark chocolate and pour over the top Grind up pistachios and sprinkle over the top Chill in the fridge (I kept mine in the fridge to store as I preferred them a bit harder and chewier) Enjoy 💕 • • • #dates #healthysnacks #yummysnackrecipe #vegetarianfood #veganfood #nutsnacks #pistacchiorecipe

🎄 CHRISTMAS JOBS 🎄 Liam and I booked a job together yesterday. We filmed some videos for the Blenheim Palace Christmas lights trail. It was definitely the best lights trail I’ve been on…soooo big 👀.
