Le livre est enfin disponible en librairie. Je suis à la FNAC Montparnasse là et j’avoue que c’est plutôt émouvant, après le travail que c’est de le « rendre existant », de le voir ici. Il s’agit d’un manuel, un outil de développement personnel, dédiés aux jeunes adolescents, pour les aider à gérer les défis émotionnels quotidiens, et à surmonter des moments difficiles et compliquées. Le livre que j’aurais souhaité pouvoir lire quand j’étais petite et qui me sert encore aujourd’hui. Bonne lecture et écrivez-moi après l’avoir lu.

The problem with limiting beliefs is that we don’t know we have them until we start to explore them.
They come from things we were told as a child… From avoiding pain…
They come from irrational fears…
They come from false assumptions…
Limiting beliefs hold us down, they hold us back, and act as self sabotage in the journey towards living the life we were born to live and realising our dreams.
One of the methods I have found helpful to help overcome my limiting beliefs is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT): a technique where we tap our acupressure points to help us to reprogram our mind. Trauma stays stored in our body and this is a form of deep release.

1. La narration: Journal intime et une rencontre entre les ados Elisa et Paolo qui commencent à échanger sur sujets comme les difficultés qui sont typiques du monde des jeunes mais qui en réalité font aussi partie du monde des adultes, comme par exemple, les changements. Le changement d’école, le changement de travail. La gestion de l’estime de soi, la gestion des critiques que les autres nous adressent souvent.
2. La transformation. À partir de cette rencontre/comparaison de notes, naissent une série de lignes directrices qui peuvent aider ceux qui lisent à nous sentir mieux.
Le livre utilise une technique testée par @paolo.borzacchiello dans ses romans best-sellers qui provoque un changement simplement en lisant.
3. Les 10 activités cognito-comportementales présentes à la fin permettent de mettre en action ce que le livre nous apprend, devisées pour être utilisées individuellement pour un travail expérientiel mais aussi par éducateurs au sein de leur classes.
