Making a bowl to hold my nourishment but it’s actually the emptiness within that holds value.
For some, it’s dirt.. for most, it’s clay.
Dirt.. clay.. it really has nothing to prove.
Years ago, when I lived in Bby, i drove down to Pune in the rains and did a 7 day workshop of pottery on the wheel. 9 am to nearly 7 pm, I sat at the wheel playing with clay, making friends with it, with beautiful rains coming down all around me and hot tea to give me company.
There is something so absolutely beautiful about working with your hands and your own energy, specially in the rains, that hours pass by and you don’t reach for your phone or think a thought that isn’t needed to be thought.

Front loading the day. No one gives you a Noble Prize for what you are thinking of doing, what you are planning to do. It’s only what you DO. At 2 am ? That’s character. Whatever that might be. I read this in this book – The Power of Now. When you are chilling, chill so hard that you don’t feel like you are working when you are working. When working, work so hard that you don’t feel bad when you are chilling hard. By that I don’t mean the sad distinction between week days and week ends people have these days, drowning them selves in alcohol on the week ends for the sad life they might be living during the week. Of course I drank all of May. I had a great time. That was my plan. But I drink when and how I want to. Not because when others want me to, or because I want to escape from something.
