Nutrition fact: our cells run on glucose… so, some nutrition definition: “good carbs”= complex, nutrient-rich and found in whole grains, fruits, veggies and legumes that don’t cause rapid spikes in blood glucose levels. “Bad carbs= simple, refined, nutrient-poor and found in processed foods or empty calorie sweets like candy, cake, cookies, most breakfast cereals…and on the rare occasion, these treats are fine. THIS is state of the art training. It’s total body AND brain stimulation…It’s the missing piece of the fitness / wellness puzzle. I’m in the next phase of my 6-month experiment with trainer @korey.rowe , and one of our big focuses is core strength. I started these exercises on the ground with just my body weight. From there, I progressed—adding dumbbells, lifting my body, and eventually raising my leg. No one starts as an expert. Fitness isn’t about being perfect—it’s about meeting your body where it’s at and getting stronger over time. Wherever you are today, just start. Progress happens one rep at a time. Keep going. Keep growing. Your future self will thank you. 💪
